FORESTERS’ LODGE

COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE. FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Foresters’ Lodge was held in Masterton on Monday night when a fair attendance of members was presided over by C.R. Bro C. A. Leigh. Sick Members. Bro S. V. Sharman reported that the members on the sick fund were progressing favourably. The secretary reported that two brothers had declared on the funds and two declared off. Card Tournaments. Bro R. Walker reported that the attendances at the Saturday night card tournaments were being well maintained. Annual Picnic. It was decided that the annual lodge picnic be held on February 12. The actual place the picnic will be held has not been definitely decided upon; therefore those interested are requested to watch the “Times Age” for the advertisement . concerning the same. If the weather is unfavourable an announcement will be made from 2ZB on the morning of February 12. The following committee has been appointed to take charge of the picnic:—Bros C. A. Leigh, R. Walker, T. N. N. Coley, S. V. Sharman and H. C. Stewart.

Sick pay and accounts totalling £3l 17s 3d were passed.
