EKETAHUNA SALE. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE CO. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale yesterday as follows: — Our entry came forward up to advertised numbers and we submitted 2,400 lambs to a good attendance. Manawatu buyers were present but their interest centred mainly in pens of forward condition lambs. The yarding included lines of good shorn and woolly lambs but black faces were in short supply. Prices generally compared with late rates and a good clearance was effected. Quotations: — A/c Turnor Estate, w.wr lambs, 16s lOd; a/c McLennan Estate, do, 13s Bd, 10s; a/c F. Evans, 14s Id; a/c F.
