TERRIBLE CRASH
SWIFT AIR FORCE PLANE.
MACHINE AND PILOT BURIED DEEP IN GROUND.

The force with which a Royal Air Force Hawker Hurricane monoplane crashed, at 400 miles an hour, from a height of 2,000 feet, buried the machine and pilot twenty feet in the earth. The body has not yet been recovered.
