YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

MEETING AT ALFREDTON.

(“Times-Age” Special.)

Tiie monthly meeting of the Alfredten Young Farmers’ Club was held on Wednesday night in the Alfredton Hall. There was a good attendance of members, Mr 11. Edmonds presiding. An instructive lecture was given by Mr J. L. Heckler who spoke on the selection of Romney rams for flock purposes. Mr A. Napier gave an interesting lecture on Southdown rams for the same purpose. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the speakers by acclamation. Among the matters discussed were reports from club committee meetings and the raising of funds for a dance later on in the year. Members were advised to enter fleeces for the fleece competition at the next Masterton show.
