GOVERNOR OF CYPRUS
APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCED.
(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, February 2.
The appointment is announced of Mr W. D.' Battershill, Chief Secretary to the Government of Palestine, as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Cyprus, in succession to Sir Richmond Palmer, who is retiring.
