Mrs Spellman, Woodville, left by the Awatea for Sydney. Mrs Harold Herbert, of Pongaroa, is on a visit to relatives at Akitio Beach. Mrs J. Fulcher, Kaitawa, has as her guest Mrs A. W. Brunet, of Otorohanga. Miss G. Langdon, x who has been staying at Tinui, has returned to Lower Hutt.
Mr and Mrs J. V. Gordon, Pownall Street, Masterton, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Miss Wiggins, who has been spending the holidays in Christchurch, has returned to Masterton.
Miss Peggy Smith, of Otorohanga. who has been on an extended visit to the Wairarapa, has returned home. Miss S. Brown, Marton, is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs R. Brown, Essex Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs A. W. Don, who have been camping at Brown’s Bay, Auckland, have returned to Masterton. Mr and Mrs D. H. S. Riddiford, Featherston, are visiting Napier for the Ormond-Herrick wedding today. Mrs G. Gardiner, of Pahiatua, has returned home after a holiday spent in Masterton.
Mrs J. W. Swanney, who spent a holiday at Eastbourne, has returned to Pahiatua.
Mr and Mrs T. Burr, of Pahiatua, and formerly of Masterton, have returned home after a tour of the North Island.
Mesdames A. T. Parkes, of Lower Hutt, and R. Bull, of Wellington, are guests of Mrs J. Algie, Masterton Road, Pahiatua.
Mrs R. V. Hume, Raho Ruru, Featherston, has returned from a nine months’ tour of Great Britain and the Continent, and is the guest of Dr and Mrs Rolland O’Regan, Roseneath, Wellington.
