MASTERTON CLUB.
LAST NIGHT’S EVENTS.
The Masterton Amateur Swimming Club held another of its popular meetings last night at the local baths. There was a good attendance of the public, who were provided with some excellent displays. Much improved form was shown
by a number of the
competitors, and this is a matter for general astisfaction. The following are the results:— 25 yards junior girls freestyle handicap —M. Pauling (Isec), 1; A. Stains (scr), 2; B. Mayhew (2sec), 3. Time'23 4-ssecs,

25 yards junior girls breaststroke handicap—A. Stains (scr), 1; B. Bruce (ssecs), 2; N. Stains (3sec9), 3. Time 25 2-5 sec.
25 yards junior boys breaststroke handicap—B. Finlayson (7sec) 1; B. Knowles (Isec), 2; G. Knowles (3secs), 3. Time 28 l-ssec.
75 yards intermediate boys’ handicap —F. Parsons (ssec), 1; P. O'Neill (scr), 2; T. Burns (3sec), 3. Time 58 4-ssec. 50 yards intermediate boys’ breaststroke handicap—F. Parsons (lsec), 1; G. Pitt (lsec), and W. White (scr), 2nd equal. Time 47 2-ssec. ’
