Adrian Knox Stakes, one mile. —Early Bird (Bartie) 1; Diamond Wedding (Davidson) 2; Talkalot (Munro) 3. Scratched: Feminist. Two lengths and a half; half a length. Time, 1.364. Anniversary Handicap, one mile and a half.—Allunga (Munro) and Edible (Findlay), dead heat for first; Red Sails (Duncan) 3. All started. Red Sails was a length and a half behind the winners. Time, 2.30:/. AUSTRALIA DAY CUPWON BY DONASTER. MELBOURNE, January 30. At the Williamstown races the Australia Day Cup, one mile and three furlongs, resulted as follows: —Donaster (Reed) 1; Buzalong (Varley) 2; Prince Sion (Badger) 3. Scratched:— Montaza. Three-quarters of a length; neck. Time, 2.17 j !.
