STOCK DEALING
LOOSENESS OF METHODS ALLEGED. EVIDENCE OF SALE NEEDED. “What has struck me over a period of years is the looseness in stock dealing transactions,” remarked Mr A. T. P. Hubbard, Stock Inspector, Department of Agriculture, at today’s meeting of the Farmers’ Union. “Under the methods at present prevailing,” he added, “it is a wonder that there has not been a great deal more sheep stealing.. In my opinion, there should be documentary evidence of the sale whenever stock changes hands.”
