W. B. YEATES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ißeceived This Day. 10.10 a.mJ LONDON, January 29. The death is announced of W. B. Yeats, the poet. He was an art student for three years, but left art for literature when 21 years of age; a Senator of Irish Free State 1922-28; awarded Nobel Prize for literature 1923.
