FATAL DIVE
CONSTABLE'S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 2&. Seriously injured when he struck the bottom in a dive from a jetty in Lake Rotoiti on December 15. Constable Horace George Roberts, aged 28. died in the Rotorua Hospital this evening. Constable Roberts was the youngest son of Constable G. Roberts, Riccarton, and a brother of Mr A. W. Roberts, New Zealand and Canterbury representative cricketer. He had been stationed in Rotorua since 1937.
