The Milwaukee correspondent of the United Press says that Doctor William Doern, physician at the local Mercy Hospital, announced to the hospital staff the discovery of micro-organism which “is the probable cause of cancer.” The discovery i- he culmination of research begun in 1932. The micro-organism has a special affinity to sex cells both in animals and plants and, with cultures of this microorganism, malignant tumours in more than 100 animals were produced.
