MISS F. RUTHERFORD
ENTERTAINED AT A PARTY. Mrs Terry Falloon held a delightful bridge party at Rosebank, Bideford, last night in honour of Miss Frances I Rutherford, who will leave next week /for Christchurch to further her art I studies at the Canterbury School of I Art. The hostess received her guests wearing a bottle green chenille frock and the guest of honour was wearing a navy blue floral georgette trimmed with emerald green. A buffet supper was served in the large entrance hall. The bridge prize was won by Miss Thompson. Among those present were: Mrs Olivant (Wellington), Misses Betty Beale (Carterton), Rae Harrison, Lottie Boddington. Louise Armstrong, Gwen Pither, Mary Pither, Marion Falloon, Katherine Cunningham, Yolande Ruby, Peggy Hubbard, Jean Laing (Wellington), K. Thomson, E„ F. and M. Rutherford. Miss Frances Rutherford is to be entertained at bridge and afternoon parties during the next week.
