Mrs H. E. Pither, of Masterton, has returned from a holiday spent at Seatoun.
Miss Joan Lloyd, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs David McNeur. Lansdowne. Mrs A. S. Carter has returned to Eketahuna after a holiday spent in Christchurch.
Mis B. Wilson, of Rangiora, is the guest of Mrs J. D. Wilson, of Pahiatua.
Miss M. Barrett, of Pahiatua, has as her guests Misses Rose and Ngaio Braddick, of Kaipara. Mrs Syverston, of Auckland, and formerly of Masterton, is the guest .of Mrs Neilsen, Lincoln Road, Masterton.
Miss M. I. Ross, sole teacher at Rongokokako, has been appointed infant mistress at Eketahuna District High School.

the Pahiatua telephone exchange, has received word of her transfer to Taihape. Mrs J'. W. Rutherford and Miss Mj Rutherford, of Palmerston North, are the guests of Mrs. E. E. ‘ Etz, Pahiatua.
Mr and Mrs Thomas McCormack, of Masterton, have arrived home after a holiday spent in Christchurch, Oamaru and Hampden. Miss Iris Mason, who has been spending a holiday with her parents, IV(r and Mrs Will J. Mason, “Lansdowne, Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt, has returned to Sydney. Mrs H. F. Ayson, Rarotonga, wife of the Resident Commissioner of the Cook Islands, is visiting New Zealand, and will later go to Palmerston North, where she will be the guest of her daughter, Mrs T. M. N. Rodgers.
