DROWNED IN POOL
YOUNG MAORI’S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TE KUITI, This Day. A Maori named Pera Pitihira, a single man aged 22, was drowned in a pool on his father's farm at Tiroa. near Mangapehi. Two children in the vicinity saw him disappear and his body later was recovered.
It was stated at the inquest that he was subject to fits, and a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned.
