The weather is dull but the attendance is good for the first day of the Pahiatua Racing Club’s meeting. Won by three-quarters of a length, with Coronado a head further back. Time, 1.18 4/5. KONINI HANDICAP, 7f., 3 Mother-in-Law, 8.0 (Marsh) 1 2 Thrasos, 7.12 2 1 Diamond Cutter, 8.5 3 Won by half a head, with the third horse lj lengths further back. Time, 1.38 4/5.
