CONCLUSION OF NORTH ISLAND TOURNEY. MASTERTON PAIR WIN DOUBLES. The North Island tennis championships were concluded yesterday at the Masterton Club courts. The results of the final games were as follow: — CHAMPIONSHIPS COMBINED DOUBLES. Semi-final. P. Hawksworth and Mrs Hawksworth beat O. Bold and Miss J. Betts, 6/8, 6/4. 6/1. Pinal. ' P. Hawksworth and Mrs Hawksworth (Masterton) beat R. Sharp and Miss M. Glenny (Hastings), 6/4, 8/6. HANDICAPS A GRADE COMBINED DOUBLES. Semi-final. P. Hawksworth and Mrs G. McLeod (owe 4-6 15) beat H. M. A. Major and Miss L. Beetham (rec 15 3-6), 8/6. Final.
