The police are still examining documents seized during last week’s raids on Japanese hotels and business premises. There have been no arrests yet, and it is understood that none are likely.

TOKIO PROTEST TALK OF PROMINENT PEOPLE BEING ARRESTED. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) TOKIO, January 25. The Foreign Office states that representations are being made in London against the arrest in Singapore of several prominent Japanese, including representatives of the Mitsui Mitsubishi Company.
