NORTH ISLAND DISTRICT COMPETITION P. R. WELCH’S PEN PLACED i HIKD. DETAILS OF INDIVIDUAL PRIZES. Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board from its London Manager, that the individual prizes in the Meat Board's North Island district lamb competition were won as follow:— First prize, £l5. Waikato, pen No. 316, (J. S. Thomas). Second prize, £.lO, Feilding, pen No. 51 (J. M. Campbell). Third prize, £5 —Wairarapa, pen No. 17 (P. R. Welch). Highly commended, Wanganui, pen No 46 (J. Wilson).
Wairarapa won the Meat Board’s Silver Challenge Shield for the best district display, Feilding being second, Waikato third and Manawatu fourth.
