SCREEN ROMANCE

A JUNGLE SAGA. The screen romance with the most exotic background of the year is Paramount’s jungle saga, “Booloo,” which will have its first local showing tomorrow at the Cosy Theatre. To film this tale of adventure, Director-Pro-ducer Clyde Elliott took a cast and technical crew on a journey of almost ten thousand miles to the Malayan jungle, four hundred miles north of Singapore. Colin Tapley, the young New Zealander, has the chief role in a story of a British explorer who buried himself in the trackless jungle to redeem his father’s honour and makes a discovery that startles the world of science.
