MODERN MEANS OF TRANSPORT IN CANADA. EDMONTON. With the most modern means of transportation, the aeroplane, winging its way to Canada's northland. Christmas this year added pleasures to the lonely trapper, miner and official residing in the vicinity of the Arctic circle. Large Trans-Canada Airways planes sped the Old Country Christmas mail across Canada, and any destined for the north was transshiped at Edmonton to ski-equipped machines which carried the mail to points as far north as the Arctic Sea, in time to reach the. recipient in the Far North before December 25.
