Nashashibi, leader of the moderate National Defence Party, announces that his party will not join the delegation to the London talks, as it refuses to accept the Grand Mufti s selection of delegates to represent it, one being a sick man and unfit for travel and the other being a partisan of the Mufti. He declared that the party’s decision was unanimous and final. The party also reserved the right to refuse to recognise any arrangement reached in London.
