, MEETING AT KOPUARANGA. (“Times-Age" Special.) The monthly meeting of the Kopuaranga Women’s Institute was held in the hall recently. Mrs S. J. Clarke presided. The roll "call for the month was a child’s funny saying. A demonstration in gesso work was given by Mrs Jarrett. Competitions resulted as follows: — Best bloom: Miss Kenny 1, Mrs Kenny 2, Miss Wright 3. Cake: Mrs Wright 1, Miss Kenny 2, Miss Fenemor 3. Long tot sum: Mrs Donald 1, Miss E. Jarrett 2, Mrs Kenny and Miss Wright 3. The hostesses were Misses Wright and Fenemor. A happy gathering closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
