GISBORNE RAM FAIR
PRICES DOWN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE. January 23. A flock of Romney rams sold at the annual Gisborne fair at prices two to three guineas lower than last year, though values hardened in the afternoon on the morning selling. Fancied lines ranged from 10 to 12 guineas, other good -sorts selling from eight to 10 guineas, but most at lower prices. Buyers were present from the Bay of Plenty and northern Hawke’s Bay. Many leading North Island flocks were represented in the catalogue. The offering totalled 1750.
