JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP LAST SATURDAY’S GAMES. GOOD SCORES REGISTERED. There were no senior games played in Masterton on Saturday, but the junior competition was continued in fine weather and on satisfactory wickets, some good scores being registered.

The games resulted as follows:— Red Star v. Martinborough. — These teams met on the Park Oval, Red Star I winning by 32 runs on the first innings. | Scores: Red Star, first innings, 155 (Hayes 67, Osborne 33, Wellington 25; Power 5 for 29. This match was played on the College ground and was won by the Masterton team on the first innings. Old Boys. — Played at the Masterton Park Oval, this match resulted in an easy win for Carterton, who established the unique record of winning the match without losing a wicket in either innings.
