According to the “News Chronicle. Sir Dawson Bates, joint secretary of the Ulster Unionist Council, who visited the Home Office today and discussed the Irish Republican bomb incidents, brought an alleged terrorist "death list,” containing the names of 20 prominent British and Irish officials holding key posts in Northern Ireland, all of whom are now being specially guarded.
Sir Wilson Hungerford, chief Unionist agent in Northern Ireland, stated that he would not be surprised if there were more bomb outrages throughout Britain.
He expressed the belief that the interning of 34 leaders of the liish Republican Army in December saved Ulster from a major catastrophe. The incidents in England proved that the organisation’s activities were widespread. A Dublin message says that Irish Republican Army general headquarters has issued a statement denying any knowledge of the Tralee explosion last Thursday, adding that it had neither ordered nor authorised such action.
A report from Colombo states that Lord Craigavon, Premier of Northern Ireland, who is on holiday in Ceylon, declared that an all-Irish republic was impossible. He referred with scorn to the motives of those responsible for the bombings.

KING GUARDED DETECTIVES AT SANDRINGHAM. MORE BOMBING ATTEMPTS EXPECTED. (Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, January 22. As a precaution against Irish Republican outrages, four detectives were stationed yesterday at Sandringham where Crown Prince Olaf of Norway is visiting the King while the ordinary police force guarding the King has been augmented. A bigger police guard has been assigned to Sir Samuel Hore, Home Secretary, and Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Dominions Secretary.
The “Sunday Referee” says that the authorities are ready to meet a huge outbreak of bombing attempts scheduled for tonight. Power stations, munitions works, R.A.F. bases, railways and airports have been marked down for attack.
