SHEEPSKINS AND HIDES

WELLINGTON PRICES. Sheepskins sold, at cheaper prices at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. There was good competition for hides. Heavies were unchanged. but cow and light to medium rvere cheaper.

Sheepskins: Since the previous sale the market has shown a further decline and prices yesterday were generally id to :jd a lb lower than last sale's rates.

Hides: Competition was fairly keen but prices for light ox and cow were l-Bdlo 3-8 d lower: heavies sold at par, yearling and kip were ,}d to 3-8 d higher. with calf unchanged. Tallow sold at slightly lower prices. The range of prices is as follows: —
