AMERICAN ARRANGEMENT WITH FRANCE EXPERIMENTAL FLIGHTS SHORTLY. DELAY IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright NEW YORK, January 19. The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says that because of continued delay over the comoletion of arrangements for the reciprocal British-American transatlantic service. which has now been postponed at least till. June, the Civil Aviation Authority has announced completion of an arrangement with France permitting American planes to land for an experimental period of six months. Pan-American Airways will shortly inaugurate a service of four roundtrips weekly. Other American companies may participate in the arrangement in order to avoid the aspect of a monopoly. Pan-American Airways, however, has two Boeing flying-boats ready and a third will be ready shortly, all having a 3200-mile non-stop range with an 11.0001 b payload.
