QUESTIONS OF TRADE COMPETITION. NEGOTIATIONS PROPOSED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 18. The Grand Council of the Federation of British Industries has received a report from its director, Mr Guy Locock. regarding informal conversations before Christmas representatives the German Reichsgruppe Industrie, with rereference to Anglo-German trade relations and the question of competition between the two countries in third country markets, especially in South Eastern Europe. The Grand Council approved a suggestion that official discussions should be held between the two organisations with a view to facilitating negotiations between individual industries in Germany and Britain on these subjects. The Reichsgruppe Industrie has been informed, and arrangements are being considered for an early meeting between the two bodies.
