STRIKES IN BURMA
SIX THOUSAND WORKERS OUT. TROOPS SENT TO AFFECTED AREAS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) RANGOON. January 19. Six thousand persons are on strike throughout Burma as a result of labour troubles, including employees of the British Burma Petroleum Company. Troops have been drafted to the affected areas.
