Telfar (Invercargill) beat Mrs Basset (Wanganui) 26-1; Mrs Gambrill (Palmerston North) beat Mrs F. Tiffin (Hawke’s Bay), 26-17; Mrs Baker (Carlton) beat Mrs Mouat (Waimairel 26-3; Mrs Bryan (Waimaire) beat Mrs W. McLennan (South Canterbury) 26-6; Mrs McMurray (Palmerston North) beat Mrs W. E. Caldow (Wellington) by default; Mrs W. Walker (Wellington) beat Mrs A. Frost (Nelson) 26-7. Level Singles. First round: Mrs P. Anderson beat Mrs J. Gcrke (Kimbolton) 26-22. Second round: Mrs Mills (Palmerston North) beat Mrs G. Meikle (To Aroha) 26-15. A meeting of croquet players attending the Dominion championships meeting decided to hold the next Dominion tourney in Wellington, as part of the centennial celebrations. On account of the large number of matches next year the North and South Island tournaments will not be held.
