The Australian Associated Press says the Empire Beef Council has drafted a tentative scheme for control of mutton and lamb imports, which will be submitted to the Dominions, requesting views regarding the scheme. The Council has expressed willingess to revise its plan, if necessary, before submitting it to the Board of Trade. Also, it stated, restrictions are being imposed only when they are essential. The council is meeting tomorrow, at . which time, the Dominions’ replies are expected.
