General situation: ?>.n anticyclone is mw moving slowly cn to New Zealand Tom the .centre of the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong but gradually decreasing north-west to westerly winds. Weather mainly fine and nilder but a few isolated showers still possible in and west of the ranges.
.The following report appeared in a copy of the Wairarapa "Daily Times." dated January 18. 1914: —"Mr C. E. Daniell suggested at the meeting of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon that the refreshment rooms at Kaitoke should be removed to the Summit, thus saving time cn the train journey both ways.”
