NELSON HEADS DOMINION LIST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 18. The Meteorological Office has supplied a table of bright sunshine for 1938. showing Nelson at the head of the list, with 2344.4 hours. Other figures are: —Alexandra 2343.2, Auckland 2276.4. Blenheim 2241.2, Lake Te Kapo 2240.8. Tauranga 2229.6. Napier 2211.4. Waipiata 2162.3. Gisborne 2154.8. Te Paki and Te Hapua 2140.6, Wanganui 2126.3. Queenstown 2109, Masterton 2094.2, Ruakura 2091.2, New Plymouth 2045.3, Durstone and Methven 2008.6, Rotorua 1986.4 and Wellington 1963.8. Among other places listed are Christchurch 1875.8, Dunedin 1869.4, Timaru 1813.7, Invercargill 1738, Oamaru 1688.5 and Waimate 1630.1.
