SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP NO SURPRISES IN ELIMINATING ROUNDS. TOURNAMENT AT WANGANUI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. The New Zealand junior tennis championships started in a heavy gale this morning with intermittent rain. Play was confined to the singles and the eliminating rounds produced no surprises, although it could be seen that the standard was high. Results:— GIRLS’ SINGLES. Colleen Chester (Canterbury) beat S.
