FLAX FIRE
HEAVY LOSS AT LEVIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) LEVIN, This Day. Lashed by a strong westerly wind, a fire started at noon yesterday on Ross, Rough and Company's property, near Levin, and swept through a block of 200 acres of flax, estimated to be worth £350. Today the fire has almost burnt j out, but the loss is a heavy one. as the flax was ready to cut.
