HITLER ON MUNICH

SAYS HE WAS STRONGLY IMPRESSED

HOPES OF PRESERVING PEACE.

GERMANY'S “ABSOLUTE RIGHTS.

(Received This Day, 9.25 am.) BERLIN, January 12.

Herr Hitler, acknowledging New Year greeting from the Papal Nuncio, who specially referred to the Munich Agreement, declared: “I also was strongly impressed at Munich. Germany, last year brought into effect her absolute rights without war, to which wise judgments the Powers at Munich contributed. I am of opinion that the event justifies the hope of future common friendship. European statesman may preserve a peace throughout Europe which gives the fullest justice to the legitimate interests of nations.”
