SHOTS FIRED

AT GERMAN LEGATION AT THE HAGUE

SMALL HOLES FOUND IN WINDOWS.

POLICE SUSPECT USE OF CHILD’S AIR GUN.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. BERLIN, January 12.

For the first time it is announced that shots were fired at the German Consulate at Amsterdam on January 6, and the German Legation in the Hague on January 9. The German Minister of Propaganda, Dr Goebbels, blames the Jews, against whom he threatens severe reprisals if such acts of Jewish violence continue.

The German Minister at the Hague reported the finding of small holes in the windows of the buildings, which the Dutch police are investigating. The police do not regard the affair seriously as it is believed that holes were made by pellets from a child’s air gun. The police have been unable to find any trace of a bullet.
