Miss Molly Hudson, of Eketahuna, has returned from a visit to Auckland,

Mrs J. Cullum, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs J. H. Hudson, Newman.

Mrs. T. R. Barrer, of Renall Street, Masterton, is spending a fortnight in Wellington. Mr and Mrs F. A. Meech. who have been on a motor tour to Auckland, have returned to Pongaroa.

Miss Helen Butler, who has been the guest of Mrs T. R. Barrer, Masterton, has returned to Christchurch.

Mr and Mrs Brian Barrer, of Christchurch, and son, who have been staying in Masterton, have returned home. Miss J. Bissett, of Masterton Road, Pahiatua, has returned from a holiday .■pent in Auckland.

Mrs R. L. Cowie, of Wellington, is ihe guest of her cousin, Mrs J. P. Delehanty, Konini. Mr and Mrs A. Ruskell and family, of Rakaunui, were recent visitors to South Wairarapa.

The Misses Brenkley, Renall Street, Masterton, are spending a few days holiday in Taihape. Miss Vera Gambling, of Masterton, has left on a visit to Sydney, afterspending a holiday at Tauranga. Miss Ruby Meech. of Pongaroa, has returned after a tour of the Auckland and New Plymouth districts. Mr and Mrs H. Pauli have returned to their home in Wanganui from a visit to Masterton.

Mrs A. Hanna has returned to Christchurch from a visit to Mrs Thompson, Lansdowne, Masterton. Mrs J. Ferris Fuller, Masterton, is visiting her mother, Mrs F. J. Campbell, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin.

Misses Mary and Betty Bailey, Palmerston North, were recently the guests of Mrs W. J. Grey, Albert Street, Masterton. Mrs Norman Beetham, Mr and Mrs Trevor Beetham, Mr and Mrs Harold Beetham, Masterton, and their families are staying at Paraparaumu Beach.

Mr and Mrs S. W. Eunson, their son and daughter, of Pongaroa, have returned after spending three weeks in Tauranga.

Mr and Mrs B. Buchanan, and Mr and Mrs G. J. Buchanan, Dannevirke, and Mrs H. Buchanan, Waipukurau, were visitors to Carterton for the Buchanan-Booth wedding. Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, Director of School Hygiene, returned to Wellington yesterday from Nelson. She visited the small health camp in the hospital grounds in Picton and also the larger camp on the racecourse in Richmond, near Nelson. Mr and Mrs Gordon Thomson and the Misses Nancy and Flora Thomson, Westmere, Masterton, accompanied by Mrs Alex Southey and Miss Lorna’ Southey, Eketahuna, are spending a week’s holiday at the camping ground, Napier. Visitors to Carterton for the Buchanan-Booth wedding are Mrs Douglas Gray (Auckland), Mrs Roake (Dannevirke), Mrs A. Roydhouse (Dunedin), Mrs H. Sherriff and Miss' E. Sherrill (Marton), Mrs W. Rice (Ohura), and Mrs H. Baird (Masterton). all of whom are the guests of Mr and Mrs Booth, Middlerun.

Miss E. Jones has returned from a holiday spent in Hamilton.

Mrs Geo. Brown has returned from Auckland.

Mrs A. King, Rexwood Street, has returned from Lower Hutt. Mr and Mrs Godfrey Stroud, Makara, came to Carterton for the Buch-anan-Booth wedding. Miss Zena Freer and Miss Irene Corlett are spending a holiday at Paraparaumu Beach. Mr and Mrs E. Hedley and family, Kent Street, who have been spending a holiday at Paraparaumu Beach, have returned home. Mr and Mrs H. E. Jackson and family, Kent Street, have returned from a camping holiday at Taupo, and a motor tour of the surrounding district. Miss C. Gapper, formerly of the staff of the Carterton School, spent a few days in Carterton on the way to her home in Nelson, where she will spend the remainder of the term holidays. Mr and Mrs D. L. Taverner have returned to their home in Park Road. Mr and Mrs O. Brazendale, Matarawa, are on a motor tour of the north.

Miss Goodall (Plunket Nurse) is on annual holiday and is at present camping in the Napier district. Miss Goodall will go south this week-end and will spend the remainder of her holiday leave in Southland. Miss G. Clinch, of Perth, Western Australia, is relieving Miss Goodall.
