TENNIS COMPETITION MATCH.

(“Times-Age” Special.)

Favoured by fine weather during the weekend a match was played at Maurivecille against the Hastwells Club. After some very keen games Hastwells won by 14 sets and 92 games to 10 sets and 92 games. The Mauriceville Club’s usual Buttons competition will be held during the coming weekend. Personals. Mrs R. G. Green, of Waipawa, was a visitor to Mauriceville over the weekend. The friends of Mr Whelmshedt will be pleased to learn he has recovered sufficiently to leave hospital. He is still undergoing treatment as an outpatient. 1
