Miss D. Saker, Christchurch, is visiting relatives in Masterton.

Mr and Mrs F. Mills, of Perry Street, Masterton, have returned from a motor tour of the Auckland Province.

Mrs Wynn Parke, of Wellington, and her son are the guests of Mrs G. Sunderland, Perry Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs Scherrock, of . Essex Street, Masterton, are spending a holiday in Auckland.

Mr and Mrs O. Brazendale, of Matarawa, left yesterday on a camping tour of the North Island.

Mrs C. Wells, of Gisborne, has been visiting hei’ brother, Mr J. C. Bolton, “Waipuna,” Woodville, and Mrs Bolton. She has now proceeded to Paraparaumu to stay with relations there. Mrs Raynor Bell (nee Miss Whitehead), of Dunedin, and formerly Principal of St. Matthew’s Collegiate School for Girls in Masterton, has been appointed principal of the College of Music in Wanganui. In the final State examinations held recently for pupil nurses under the Nurses and Midwives’ Registration Board, Miss E. L .Bremer, New Plymouth, came top for the Dominion. The successful Masterton candidates are as follows:—G. M. Croal, L. A. Fletcher, G. C. Groves, E. D. Hack.
