ASSERTION OF SUPREMACY OF PARLIAMENT. ASSURANCES BY PREMIER DISCOUNTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright OTTAWA. January 9. Mr J. S. Woodworth, Leader of the Commonwealth Federation Party, announced in the House of Commons ;; resolution demanding that Canada declare that she will never enter an Empire war without a vote of Parliament. The resolution declares that the assurances to that effect given by the Prime Minister are insufficient and that the Prime Minister has no authority to give such assurances.
