BOWLING
MASTERTON CLUB. INTER-CLUB VISITS DESIRED. The monthly meeting of the committee of the Masterton Bowling Club was held last night at the pavilion. In the absence of the president, Mr F. Roberts occupied the chair. A motion of sympathy was passed to Mr F. Evans in his recent bereavement. It was decided that the first round of championship fours be played on Saturday next after the club fours. The secretary was instructed to communicate with the Eketahuna, Upper Hutt and Eastbourne clubs with a view to exchanging visits. It is the desire of the committee that interclub visits should be encouraged.
