RECORD RECRUITING
THE BRITISH TERRITORIAL ARMY. NOW LARGER THAN REGULAR FORCES. (British Official Wireless./ (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY. January 10. Record recruiting returns continue to be made for the Territorial Army. The figures for January show the strength to have reached 204,000 officers and men. The revised establishment is 224,039. During December 6.882 recruits enlisted and. after allowing for officers and men who have completed their service, there is a net gain of 3819. The Territorial Army is now larger than the regular army.
