The Washington correspondent of the "New York Times” says he understands that Ambassadors Bullitt and Kennedy have indicated the likelihood of a major war in Europe before the middle of the year, probably caused by Mussolini’s ambition to rival Hitler, particularly since he is threatening territorial demands on major powers instead of small ones.
