PAHIATUA SALE. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale as follows: —A good yarding of lambs was submitted to a large attendance of buyers. The bulk of the entry consisted of shorn wether lambs, with a few pens of ewe lambs and b.f. rape lambs. There was a good demand for the better class of rape lambs. Ewe lambs also sold well, but shorn wether lambs were inclined to drag. However, vendors met the market in all cases, and a clearance was made. The following is the range of prices:—A/c. J. Bambry, good, b.f. rape lambs, 16s 6d; a/c W. W. Day, shorn wether lambs, 14s Id; a/c A. J. Patchett, shorn wether lambs, 15s sd; a/c Balfour estate, shorn ewe lambs, 17s Id; medium shorn wether lambs, 9s 6d; a/c other vendors, b.f. lambs, 12s 4d to 13s 6d, woolly wether lambs 16s 6d; woolly ewe lambs to 18s, cull lambs, 7s to 9s.
