Colonel Martin Snyder, former husband of the film actress, Ruth Etting, who was convicted for attempting to murder Myrl Aiderman, Ruth Etting’s present husband, was sentenced to the maximum term of 20 years’ imprisonment, though it is believed that he may be compelled to serve only six months, a Hollywood cablegram reports.
“What your husband wants is a complete rest.” said the doctor, “so I have prescribed a sleeping draught.” “Yes. doctor.” said the wife, “and at what time shall I give it to him?” “Don’t give it to him. Take it yourself.”
