FORMAL SEIZURE BY POLAND

WARSAW. January 7.
Poland on January 1 formally took possession of Russian Crown jewels valued at £1,500.000 deposited by the Soviet under the Riga Agreement, 1921. as a guarantee for an unpaid indemnity of £3,000,000 for treasures Russia took from Poland.
