ACCIDENT AT CASTLEPOINT

MASTERTON MAN INJURED. FALL DOWN 30 FEET BANK. When he slipped and fell down a 30-foot bank at Castlepoint on Saturday. a man named Allan Thompson, of 42 Perry Street, received a broken arm and other minor injuries which

necessitated his removal to the Masterton Hospital. But for the timely arrival of a party of men who were fishing nearby, the outcome of the accident might have been even more serious as Mr Thompson fell and lay helpless in five feet of water.

He was conveyed to hospital in the ambulance.
