PONGAROA

PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr G. Purdy, Branscombe, has been staying at the Midland Hotel, Masterton. Mr and Mrs A. P. Campbell and family will leave at the weekend on a holiday to Island Bay, Wellington. Mr and Mrs F. A. Meech, Woodlands, returned yesterday from a motor tour-to Auckland.

Mr and Mrs J. T. R. Scott have returned from a visit to Palmerston North.

Mrs J. Gibbons, accompanied by her son, Peter, River Road, will sail on Monday by the Monterey , for the United States of America.

Mr and Mrs N. Fuller, who have been the guests of Mrs W. Pickett, “Kohiku,” returned to Wellington today. Mr and Mrs S. L. Kent, who spent Christmas in Pongaroa, are now visiting Napier before returning to their home in Sanson.
